Refer to your letter No.07L/REK/JS58/0073 about Building Integrative Lab on The Construction Site, please consider for the following answer :


1. Aggregate Test. We plan provide aggregate test in Materal Laboratory University of Indonesia, Depok. Items of test are :

Sieve Analysis of Coarse Aggregate
Sieve Analysis of Fine Aggregate
Soundness Test
Organic Impurities Test
Mud Content Test
Lempung Content Test
Indeks Kepipihan
Sand Equivalent Test
Specific Gravity of Coarse Aggregate
Specific Gravity of Fine Aggregate
Concrete Air Content
Unit Weigh Test of Coarse Aggregate
Unit Weigh Test of Fine Aggregate

For lean concrete, we have taken aggregate’s samples from the Quarry in Pulorida and for the time beeing is still testing in UI Laboratory.

2.Cement Test. We plan provide test in Indocement Laboratory. Items of test are :

Fineness, specific surface, Air permeability test
Auto clave extension
Compressive Strength
Time of setting, vicat test
Sulfat expansion
Air content of mortar, volume
False set
Chemical Properties

3.Water Test will be provided from PT.Sucofindo, Cilegon or UPTD Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah Dinkes Kab.Serang. Items of test are based on BS-3148 and SNI-03-xxxx-2002 to check the impurity of pH, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Sulfide, Carbonates etc.

4.Compressive Test for trial mix design will be carried out by Laboratorium Material University of Indonesia.

5.Concrete Test. For daily test such us slump test and compressive strength test , we will provide site lab.test, integrated with batching plant location. All equipment will be calibrated at BBTKS-BPPT Serpong.

6.Rebar Test. For the first step, rebar test will be provided by Balai Besar Teknologi Kekuatan Struktur – BPPT Serpong (previous LUK). Items of test are :

Tensile Test
Bending Test
Chemical Properties

For the next production, rebar test will be carried out by manufacture for every batch.

7.WeldingTest. For welding requirement, all welding procedur qualification shall be approved by Depnaker (Government body regulatory). Also, all welder shall be certified by Depnaker. Welder qualification test will be conducted in site for the first step before working.

8.Brick test . Anti press strength will be provided in Balai Besar Teknologi Kekuatan Struktur – BPPT Serpong (previous LUK).

9.Allumunium alloy construction will be tested in Balai Besar Teknologi Kekuatan Struktur – BPPT Serpong (previous LUK) especially for tension test and rigidity test.

10.Water proof material will be tested by manufacturer
